I was cleaning my car when these 2 ride by my house. I’ve never seen mounted police near here before and my road is a dead end so I thought I’d get a picture when they came back.

They hadn’t returned by the time I finished the cleaning and I began to think I’d imagined it as the road isn’t that long and there is no other way out.

I’d just about given up when I heard them coming back. I asked if I could take a picture and was told that they’d ridden here from Wickham Bishops and needed to get back before dark.

The lady on the left told me she lived at the end of the road and that was why they’d been so long.
