Tradition

In accordance with family tradition of ooooh two years now, we went to meet my brother in law and his wife for a Christmas present swap at a suitable half way staging post, for which this year we chose Tyntesfield National Trust property near Bristol.
It was very busy with almost no parking spaces left and timed tickets for the house running dangerously low. We managed to get some though and after a delicious lunch of Game stew and bread had a tour around the house. Photography was allowed but no flash, not that either of us had flash, and in the Stygian gloom of a midwinter afternoon, most of my photos were either extremely grainy or blurred.
I'm not a massive fan of severed head hunting trophies but this chap had a twinkle in his eye and wasn't too unsharp.
