In situ

After 16 years in the making this quilt is finally on our bed. It coordinates with the lovely red and cream fine-checked curtains - in our previous house. Never mind, it's warm and cosy and I love those colours so much that most of my furnishings coordinate anyway! You can now barely tell the cream has a very slight pink tinge, thank goodness.

More weeding outside and some landscape bark down, hopefully thwarting Poppydog's incoming muddy paws after tracking next door's cats through the flower beds. The temperature has gone up about 5 degrees so I could actually get out there today.

LH is doing the last of the carpet cleaning. I think I'll be having a quiet evening reading as the TV is currently out of bounds.
