Water Pump

We drove to Sutton today to see Sam, Dave and Izzy.  They had decked the house lovely for Christmas and done a lot of work on it since they moved in about eight months ago including converting an existing garage into a very comfortable 'granny' flat.

I took a little walk in the garden and took a few pics.  There is a pond at the bottom of the garden, obviously fairly mature, complete with ferns and undergrowth with lilies on the water.  By the side is this pump, presumably a water feature though it appears not to have been used for a while.  The last time I blipped a water pump was back in January 2012 , so it's about time I did another one!
