The Promise of Warmth

Inside light and warmth; outside it is frosty and cold and the windows are coated with a thick layer of frost. Inside a light is burning, a candle or an oil lamp. You can't see much but do you feel the promise of warmth?
We were at Murberget's Christmas Market, always held on a Sunday close to Christmas. The weather was kind; it had warmed up to -4°C and there was a thin coating of new snow with just a few flakes trickling down. All the beauty of snow but none of the problems it can bring!
