Local Wildlife

The harbor seals haul up on the far bank of the river where it empties into the bay. There were probably a dozen this morning, lolling about. What amazed me were all the different colors and markings. The spotted one was huffing around, jockeying for what he perceived was a better spot, but everyone else was pretty laid back. 

We walked along the beach in front of the Boardwalk and then came back through the amusement park. Too early for anything to be open, which is why I like it. The big attraction of the season is Ice Skating By The Beach!! You have to ask why, but it seems to be a hit every year.
