Shockeroony

That was a shocker this morning. There was at least 4cm of snow fell overnight over the Central Belt and, unbelievably, the country didn't grind to a halt. You could almost hear the groans of disappointment as the radio announced no issues on the roads and no school closures.

OK, I didn't attempt two wheels (though saw a couple of hardy buggers pedalling through a flurry on the road in - more power to them, the nutters), but managed an uneventful journey in past all of the newly installed Christmas trees and lights that have appeared since Friday.

To add to the shockeroonyness, this afternoon some young woman was admitted to hospital because she played hockey in high heels and got herself pregnant and a bit sick. Ooft.

Going to have to lie down myself after all that today.
