HORSE'S EYE

I suggested to Piet Hein, when I saw some blue in the sky, to go for our walk right away in the morning.
So we drove to the Diemel Hoehe and the ruin Krukenburg to start our walk there.
First up hill and then slowly down again towards the Karl May Farm. We found there the four ponies and one horse.
In the field beyond there were four horses, all Tinker horses, and one of them came near us. Two of them were eating of the dried grass.
And one stayed at the far end of the meadow.
When we started our walk we met two men with two dogs. One of the dog came with much joy towards us.
On our way back a car stopped and a man (we did not realize at first that he was one of the two we had met earlier) got out the car and came towards us. Asking us if we were dutch. A bit surprised we answered if he could see that somehow, but then he told us that he had heard our accent when we had met before.
This man of 85 years (as he later told us) had such a strange story to tell. One of his forefathers was an organ maker. And he had 21 children.
Once when he had travelled to Amsterdam to deliver an organ, he was accompanied by a son of 11 years young.
When he had wanted to return to Germany the child had disappeared and he went back without him.
Much later it was known that this child had grown up in Holland, had married and had gotten 9 children. Some of these children came back to Germany and got homes in Helmarshausen.
Really a strange story to listen to.
The weather was good for a walk, but we did not see much sunshine.
I am glad we went in the morning, because it is still early dark in the afternoon.

I will give again some silly hearts and probably will give more tomorrow, because I like so many silly photos.
The hearts are for Crispin25, SandraSuisse, robvegnuti, and KangaZu.

I wondered if I could tag my photo for the Tiny Tuesday challenge, and I thought I would. The eye is not tiny, but the hairs are.
Huge Thanks to Freyjad for hosting.
