Re-

Re-turned, Re-newed, Re-cuperated

Six am and the streets of Lockerbie were dark and quiet. Getting off the bus, I thought about that night almost 30 years ago when PanAm flight 103 crashed onto this town, killing 11 residents, 243 passengers and 16 crew. There are planned events this weekend to mark the anniversary in a healing, hopeful, peaceful way - read more HERE.

I drove home and had a couple of hours' catchup sleep before spending a quiet, reflective day. Made a sourdough loaf and an apple crumble, went for a walk with D in the rain to deliver a Christmas card and on the way we met our postie so gave him his as well! Jess was pleased to see him as always - he keeps a bag of dog treats in his van :-)

This afternoon, our friendly delivery man came by with a parcel. You may remember that he had asked for some moss to put under his Christmas tree. Today he showed us some photos on his phone of the nativity scene (or "presepio") which he has made with it.

The only photo I took today was of the labyrinth, which I walked this morning before the rain set in.
