Roe Deer Wandering By

Looking out the kitchen window we saw this roe deer come wandering by, followed by a youngster. It never fails to delight me when we can see such lovely beasts from the house. They both looked fairly healthy, almost fat, which is a good look in December when food supplies are going to be limited for at least 5 months.
Today, walking around a shopping centre I was slightly frustrated by how slowly everyone was walking, then realised it had been a while since I felt that way. For the first time in two weeks, I actually felt healthy for large parts of the day. How nice to be getting up to speed again!
We were out in Sundsvall in the evening, listening to a female choir singing Bejamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols".  I was surprised by how beautiful the music is, and very impressed by the choir doing the singing.
The Christmas period is one of the times in the year filled with lovely events, musical and otherwise.
The extra shows the main road just south of Härnösand at dusk as we were on our way to Birsta and Sundsvall.
