Eye on the prize

Dilatation #7 went ahead as planned today.
He even managed his dioralyte orally first thing in this morning.
Surgery went as expected and his oesophagus wasn't quite as tight as last time...or the time before..or the time before, with a little room around his NG tube.
Needed a saline nebuliser, here in recovery, but also got a Christmas present as well as a certificate.
He's been a bit of grumbly and sore and we think he's getting a bit of reflux too so quite uncomfortable.
In HDU again over night for observation.
Everything looking like it's moving in the right direction.
Next one planned -hopefully- for 9 days time!
