Little Tan Fly

I don’t know what this small fly is called. Apparently it takes an expert to distinguish between a number of similar flies. I call them “piggy flies” because they remind me of little tan-coloured pigs. As they don’t like to be photographed up close I was pleased to get this shot. I sometimes see them eating very small flies.
