Poinsettia

Hairdressers this morning and then home to sort out some phone calls - all sorted satisfactory.  Washing done and drying indoors - could have put it out  but quite damp and don't think it would have dried.
This poinsettia is the one I bought to welcome KG home with and as it was Flower Friday (thank to Biker Bear for hosting) thought it ought to have an airing.  I do love the red colour and find it fascinating that their flowers are so insignificant.  The other plant renown for its   flamboyant colours is the bougainvillea  with its tiny flowers is another favourite of mine.
Dry day but damp outside,
