Jolly Welcome

These cheery characters were waiting to greet us at the local bus stop this morning, as we caught the bus in to Perth:-)  

TJ had an appointment at the optician's which involved putting drops in his eyes, so he was advised not to drive.  My first trip outside for a few days, so glad it was fairly mild and dry.  Appointment over (and no problems found), we met up with friends L and A for a coffee and a pre-Christmas chat and then they very kindly gave us a lift home.

Bit of a sad tale about my real Christmas tree in the hall - I've managed to kill it off before Christmas!!  The first time I've ever done that.  I obviously brought it in to the house too soon and the house was too warm for it, so it was looking very sorry for itself and the needles (on a no-drop Nordman Fir) were beginning to fall off!  It's had to go and the search is on for another at this late stage.  No chance to look today without the car, so we'll try again tomorrow.  What a numpty:-)
