Christmas Tree Take 2

Or is it Take 3 or Take 4?  I've lost count now of the changes I've made:-)

Roamed around this morning looking for a replacement tree and was about to give up when we decided to have lunch in Dobbie's Garden Centre, as a friend was singing in a choir that was raising money for charity there.  I didn't expect them to have any trees left, but they had a few and this is the one we chose.  It's a pretty tree, but some needles have started to drop already, so just hope it lasts over Christmas, especially as we still had to pay full price for it!

Enjoyed the choir and the lunch and then it was on to Tesco for some last minute bits and pieces.  Busy, but not as manic as we expected, and neither was M&S which was our next port of call to collect the food I'd ordered online.  The weather was chilly, but dry and sunny and the roads were amazingly clear of traffic (quieter than on a normal Saturday!), so the whole experience was very civilised.

Have just watched the first part of the remade Watership Down and in spite of some good additional humour, I think I preferred the original:-)  Hope your countdown to Christmas is going as planned:-)
