Bonfire?

Making our way up to Edinburgh to Katkatkat, staying overnight and bringing her and G down home prior to heading for Sheffield for Christmas with ArcaneSpark and family.  We weren't in a rush as we were to meet Katkatkat as she came out of work.

Usually we stop at Annadale Water for our break.  Today we made two stops Annandale and Biggar.  Many times when going up to Edinburgh at this time of year I have seen huge piles of wood out side the corn exchange.  By New Year it has gone.  I find it difficult to believe they actually burn it there.

We picked Katkatkat up, made a quick visit to her allotment then headed for the flat.  Rounding the day off with a stroll to the Caley Sample Room for a nice meal.
