Afternoon tea

Woke in a panic at 7.50 thinking we’d all slept in... but hurrah it is Saturday! Can’t remember the last time I slept properly, so I felt extremely refreshed. A morning delivery brought a lovely gift from some top pals, and cheered me through the morning jobs and (rainy) shopping.

Later, very much present wrapping, a second trip into town for CarbBoy’s haircut (he ended up not asking about a razor cut as the guy was too busy - am a little relieved...) Home for cake and fizz to launch the festive season. A movie then dinner, now lounging. A few days of nothing much to look forward to, before lots of travelling.
