Prepping for Christingle

The church was taken over by the Mothers' Union this morning as they prepared all the oranges for the Christingle Service on Christmas Eve. Not one, not two, but THREE services in all, so popular it is. I hope the oranges remain edible. The candles are lit during the service. I'm sure the sweets get eaten back at home.

So there wasn't much room for those of us who came for the coffee morning. The oranges smelt fantastic.

Home  and became a couch potato. Just didn't feel inspired today. Wizard of Oz was on the box in the afternoon. I always enjoy watching it. 

William is asleep in the spare room at the moment while his parents go on a Shepshed pub crawl.
