Christmas Day

A selection of a lovely day. We had breakfast with #3 daughter and family before heading down to Whitley Bay for lunch made by #2 daughter and husband. They did really well and we all had a lovely relaxed day. Thomas taught Ella a card game so we all had a lot of games. They told cracker jokes at the table. We were all too full to bother with pudding, so we all went to the park where they boys played with James’s new football. My ankle was quite sore by the time we got back but I had my feet up for the rest of the evening when drinks and snacks were provided. I have no idea where we put it all. Bedtime was late as we all stayed over.

It was all great, and the best Christmas ever now the children are 4 and 6 - a perfect age!
