Ailsa Craig from the Road to New Orleans

10.9C and dull, with low cloud. Brighter in the afternoon. Light ESE/E/SE breeze.

Mid morning we got my little car and drove round Kilkerran Road to the Doirlinn car park. From there we walked out along the road passing Davaar island and Davaar House and continued along the road to New Orleans. There we Herons and Cormorants on the rocks, some Oystercatchers pottering about on the shore, a Black Backed Gull, and in the water some various Ducks including a group of Pochard.

It was pleasant for walking but the light not great for photos.

After lunch it got decidedly brighter outside.

Apothecary7 printed the first picture from her new Fuji Instax and pasted it into her new leather bound journal
Later she was painting.
