Life Raft Drill

Sea Day #3.  Tomorrow we will arrive in Darwin, and get off the ship for a bit!  This morning, there was a life raft drill in the pool.  All crew members had to be present to watch how the inflatable life rafts operate, and then one person from each department had to simulate jumping into the water, climbing into the raft, and exiting from the other end.  Naturally there was one wag from the engine department who showed up dressed as a penguin!  There are 24 of these inflatable rafts on board -- each one can hold 25 passengers.  These are in addition to the four tenders which can each hold 150 passengers.  So lots of room for all 600 passengers and 400 crew!
