Jumping Crocodiles

We sailed into Darwin harbour early this morning, and took a trip inland a bit to the Adelaide River, where we boarded a boat (!) and set off in search of the dreaded Saltwater Crocodile.  We were lucky.  We found two -- a very large male, and a smaller (but toothier) female.  Guides on the boat suspended chunks of buffalo meat from long poles which were held over the side, and these fearsome animals would jump up out of the water to snap at these "treats".  They certainly command a lot of respect, and you won't be finding me setting any part of my body into even the smallest patch of Australian water now!  Extra is a collage of more dinosaurlike dental displays.
