The Western Sky.....

Maisie, the Labradoodle, and I were out walking before dawn this morning. The was a red sky when we started out but it’s beauty was fleeting. The sky to the west was hung “with a poet’s eye” with lenticular clouds. The early sun briefly turned a section of hill on Meadowbank Station to gold. The distant mountains are part of the Richmond Range. With hot weather predicted early morning was the best time to be out and about.
