Someone is glad we're home

So yesterday was a very long day. Checked out of the hotel at 12 noon for our flight at 8.20 pm and finally in bed at 3 am.

Once we'd boarded, the pilot came on to say that he had taken delivery of the plane that morning and it was its second ever flight. I'm not a nervous flyer but I think I would have preferred the plane to have had a few more miles on the clock!

There was a couple in the airport and the man seemed very aggressive and was shouting at her in the middle of the duty free shop and you kept hearing him all over the airport. We hit bad turbulence so the seat belt sign came up but then an almighty fight broke out at the front of the plane. Turns out the couple where on our flight. We don't know exactly what happened but wondered if the man had continued to verbally abuse his partner because another passenger got involved and the man who had been shouting all day ended up covered in blood with a broken nose. We thought we were going to be diverted so he could be taken off the plane but we made it to Manchester where the police boarded the plane as soon as we arrived to arrest him.

It was a bit worrying but all thoughts go to the woman. If he can scream and swear in her face in a crowded airport, what is he like when the front door closes. I really hope she's ok.
