Last day of the year.

I love early morning walks. This one took me up to the neighbourhood above mine. The lighting was beautifully subtle and I love the elegance of naked trees in the winter months. The sky cleared more and more as I went up the hill. An early appointment, then a stationary bicycle session and then shopping! All shops here (except bakers) are closed on the first and the second of January!

Tomorrow we start a new year!
