Sternschnuppenmarkt

I think that translates as Shooting Star Market. If it was schnupfen, it would be "sniffing" and is not something to be taken seriously at all.

I got out of the bus early as it was full and I just wanted to go at my pace. That meant I could go through the Weihnachtmarkt and that's where I got today's Blip. Taken about 5pm today. I'm going back to try some more point-and-shoots.

I sat in on a JCL workshop today. Not the sort of thing to set your day alight. However, we did go for lunch as a team. Pretty punctually at 12 noon, we trooped on over and there I made a dicovery.

Wednesday is Schnitzel Day at work. And I got to see the Schnitzelschlange - the queue for schnitzel (rather than the schnitzel-snake as that would literally translate to).

It was impressive.

Even at 5 past 12 there were at least 100 people in the queue. Out of the 10 of us who went, 7 went for schnitzel. I had pasta and salad. Which was a shame as the schitznel looked calorifically fantastic.

Work Day 3 ended with me feeling pretty good about life. Again.
