And what I think would be called a Turmhahn here. I'm prepared to be corrected.

And there we go, Day 2 whipped by in another blizzard of technical German words. However, I got my new ID Card (making that old passport photo look good), signed my contract and got given a lot of paper about what makes my company great. I also found out where I'll be sitting for the next 2 weeks before I get moved into my team's office.

All very exciting.

The next 2 days will be taken up with a computer language workhop. This will be the first real challenge - how much do I understand and how much can I translate into real useful work... I'll take my time and be honest, no point in panicking and lying and making more problems for me later.
