B is for....

...Brandon Marsh, the nature reserve run by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.  We decided to have a run out today now a lot of people are back at work, though it is still the school holidays so the cafe was busy. and noisy. with young ones.

We had a drink before heading into the park for a walk around the lakes, very nice and quite peaceful.  B is also for birds of which we saw quite a few, firstly from the cafe where a hide and feeders have been set up just outside the windows, plenty of small birds coming and going, plus a woodpecker, a couple of wood pigeons and two squirrels.

There were lots of water birds on the lakes, ducks, swans, cormorants, gulls, lapwings and two herons, one on the far bank which I only spotted when going through the pics.

After a good walk it was back to the cafe for an excellent cauliflower curry.

Thanks to Cailleach for hosting today's Wild Wednesday.
