Mount Pond: Pigeon Planform(ish)

Extra: Amaryllis sparkles and shadows

I macro-and-flash-ed the Amaryllis in the morning; I keep trying to cast strong shadows from the stigma and stamens onto the curves of the petals and catch their sparkle, and I did a bit better today (see extra), but still haven't achieved quite the result that I'm after.

I went to Mount Pond in the early afternoon en route to coffee with my sis., and caught quite a few familiar faces (coots, pigeons, cormorants, and black-headed gulls) in flight, squabbling over food, and pottering by the pond. The Cayuga was being aloof...
