The car was mainly packed whilst Bailey was walked this morning so that saved on the majority of the whining but not all of it. He wasn't too impressed with the 160+ mile journey in the back on his own either but it was a very straightforward trip and we had a stop half way over. A supermarket trip before we made it home and then I had determined to be efficient with the afternoon. So, Bailey was walked once the car was unpacked and I had lunch. Then the return of some unwanted things ordered before Christmas, the purchase of a couple of storage boxes and another supermarket shop for Bailey supplies. Home to 'sort' the understairs cupboard and pack up Christmas. Bailey supervised and made his presence felt as I was getting finished and he needed his tea and a walk. Telly watching this evening and Bailey and I inhabited the same sofa.
