what a grey day

Grey but dry, I'll take that.
Our day started in a deserted Hawkshead (what a difference a couple of days makes at this time of year). A few purchases were made including our favourite relish from the Hawkshead Co of that name. Then off to a stroll over Torver Commons where this blip of Kelly Hall Tarn was taken. Then a driving circuit of Coniston Water, stopping at Riggings Wood jetty (last extra) to arrive at one of the best cafes in the area, at Brantwood, just as they closed !
In the end a thoroughly enjoyable day even if the weather was gloomy.
