Chilly London

A fun and really enjoyable day in the company of two good friends from camera club. It was a case of the partially sighted leading the ones who only need their specs cleaning - both friends just needed pointing in the right direction to get the good shots.  Both have an excellent eye for a good image and only needed a little direction to know the settings necessary.

We started near Tate Britain for a few 'street-style' shots of architecture and then inside the museum for a different viewpoint. (Anyone else seen those 'slugs' crawling up the exterior of TB?)  Later we moved on to Ebury Bridge to shoot the wonderful view of the old Battersea Power Station lit by many crane lights and the train trails in the foreground. (Those cranes will just have to stay!)

We had a lot of laughs, plenty of coffee and time with cameras. They were both excellent pupils and I am sure will have ended up with super images. I can't imagine a more pleasurable way to spend a day.  It wasn't even too cold, although we were all glad to reach the warmth of Pimlico underground for the trek back to Marylebone and home.
