Mum

I have spent the last 2 hours putting Mum's Christmas Tree away again and while I was there I was looking for a photo of her in uniform when she was a nurse at The Middlesex Hospital London to post on the hospital FB page ...I trained there too in the 70's but sadly the hospital has been demolished in the last few years. I didn't find the photo I wanted but I did find this lovely one of her [ far left ] and her best friend Chris [ 3rd girl from left] at a ball in Dumfries in the late 40's, early 50's. Mum and Chris trained together in first Edinburgh, then London and ultimately went to Malaya together in 1953. I think it's a beautiful photo of her :)
