A Day For Birthdays

I know three people with birthdays today, 4th December!

One, who I've known for 18 years is nearby and easy to say Happy Birthday to, in person or by email or have around for a meal and give a card to, a kingfisher one.

Another, I've known for nearly twice as long, but lives 20 miles away and I don't see very often at all considering how close we used to be. I left a voice mail. No email addy. Sadly, I forgot to post her card, a cat one.

The third, I've "known" for over 3.5 years on Blip and exchange comments regularly. She got no card but a greeting as soon as she put her blip up.

Funny how time has altered the way communicate.
