A day in the life

Twelfth night

Today it was important to burn fires to drive the evil spirits, and evil in general away. Evil had built up ever since christmas and and there was a lot of it around on the twelfth night after christmas, Yule. Sweden has a long tradition of twelfth night celebrations where light conquers the evil spirits.

Some still like to celebrate pagan festivals and do so all over Europe.

Personally I like to make a fire to drive cold away from my body and to create a bit of "coze" in the evening darkness. Light is approaching, minute by minute.
