twinned with trumpton

A quiet but productive morning at home. Steady inroads into The Causeway too.

Then out for the rest of the day. To Asda via the graffiti wall; home to deposit the shopping before a pre match pint.
A brief hi / bye with the Princess and then beer with Pensioner and his Diggers codgers at Spiers the Inverleith. I used to live above it many moons ago. It may have changed since I was last there at the turn of the century. IPA downed it was off to Ainslie Park to see my beloved Binos (8th from 10) take on table topping Embra City. A bumper crowd of 621 saw a cagey first half. A strangely disjointed City fell behind in the 51st minute when Dazza nicked a header from a corner from just in front of the keeper to nestle the ball in at the near post. Hurrah! And so it stayed. To be fair Embra lost their defensive lynchpin in the middle of the first half and that as much as anything seemed to tilt the balance the way of the Binos.
A coupon buster and no mistake but one that left me heading off to hers with a smile on my face.

She's still not weel. Swollen glands to accompany the flu like symptoms. So a gentle evening of lasagne and romcom action.

A segment from the graffiti wall.  One which the graffiti artists were not asked to pay for.
