Cranes

The walking group met up for our Christmas lunch hike. We decided to have a look at the new London Gateway container port on the Thames. It was an easy stroll along by the mudflats and up to the visitor centre on the old landfill site next door. But cold and murky, which made it excitingly wintry.

Then on to the Bell at Horndon on the Hill. A super old coaching inn with great food. Veggies look away now....

... I had calves liver and bacon which was melt in the mouth and a rice pud for afters.
