One of Tryfan’s steamy blips. Way to go Hugh.

An early start for a Sunday morning, especially after a long journey yesterday. All hands we’re required to off load and barrow a trailer load of manure at the allotment.

We were expecting a couple of trailer loads which could have taken over two hours to deal with. However, a tractor had broken down in front of the second trailer load meaning we could get away earlier than expected and I could have a shower and have my breakfast.

After that it was a case of getting things done at home. Susan took down and packed away all the decorations and we put them back in the loft. I did a load of shopping, made some parsnip and apple soup (all from the allotment) and also savoury crumble topped roasted vegetables with peas for dinner.

Watched the second Billy Connolly programme by way of relaxation in the evening.
