Stormy morning

The long trek south successfully and safely completed. Left Edinburgh at 9.30am, arrived back in Kent at 7.15pm, 436 miles in 7 hours 40 minutes driving with a stop at Mainsgill for lunch. Thankfully, a trouble free and traffic friendly journey, one of the best ever beating even the trip up there a week ago.

Today's blip is of the skies around Balerno when we left this morning. Portending a stormy day. The first part to the border proved to be damp, after that the weather improved somewhat.

Doreen, when she briefly awoke from her 10 hour sleep, ask if we'd crossed the border. When we said yes, she remarked that she thought we had as the weather was much better! She has spent much of her early married life in Glasgow!
