rain beading on the Hellebore

another drizzly, gloomy day - out of a selection of melancholy photographs, I thought this one was the most appealing, even if not framed very well.  Every year I try and keep Hellebores going on the balcony, but every year they start out really well and then somewhere in the summer die out.  this year I will try keeping the pot completely in the shade and see if that makes a difference.
