My granddaughter, proudly holding the ‘Glitter Girl’ doll she had selected to buy.

Sophia and her brother Marcus arrived with holiday money and this morning while it was still pleasantly cool we visited a local shop which is large and offers an interesting selection of goods. It is the nearest retailer we have to a department store in our small town. 


Thank you for your comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s faded Monarch butterfly. I have since added an extra photo with her wings open to show just how tatty they were. It was quite amazing she could still fly.
