The thaw

Well, the dire prediction of heavy snow for this area never materialised, and instead it has rained all day. As a result I haven't ventured further than the garden briefly to feed the birds, empty the ashes and chop some wood. I got soaked in the process!

This blip shows the melting snow and the drips of rain - hardly the most interesting of blips, but it hasn't been an interesting day. I 'wasted' the whole afternoon doing an online grocery order, but it's done and now I just have to wait and see how much I've forgotten...

I need to have a break from the computer now, but I'll catch up with everyone's journals later.
