Anna at the Window

Sushi of Gari was top notch last night. We had tray after tray of the most delicious fish. Tried blowfish for the first time last night. Gotta say, I am not sure it is worthy of risking one's life for. It tasted very much like cod.


You might remember Anna from my last trip to NYC. Another one of the glossy haired girls from the salon. She reminds ever so much of my goddaughter Cat at that age. Fiercely independent, with a such a gentle, humble manner and curious mind. Seemingly unaware of her beauty and the effect it has on those around her. The boys at the salon call her Victoria's Secret. It's not hard to see why.


Anna is in her last semester of university doing a degree in speech therapy. Her patient nature seems perfectly suited to working with small children. Her parents must be so proud of her. I wish her so much luck for the future.

The posse is gathering at Robert's tonight for traditional Puerto Rican chicken and plantains meal . So delicious.
