Another blue sky day

I did take some photos yesterday but didn't have time to download them yesterday evening. Then while I was waiting at the rendezvous spot for the walk this morning, I absentmindedly formatted the SD card, so they are gone forever. Never mind, they were fairly dull and eminently repeatable.

It was a lovely walk around Pinos del Valle, with a smaller than usual group, only about ten of us. Just the kind of walk I like: a stiff climb at the beginning (get it over with), then a long flattish section, some parts in forest, others with lovely views, and a long, easy descent (the last km on a road, but you can't have everything). And a nice bar at the end with a lovely sunny terrace. I only took one photo ... this is it. Distracted by having a lovely chat during the walk with an Irish lady, C, who lives in France but is staying here for a month, ranging over all sorts of topics.

Stats: 8.5 km, 245 m climbing, 2 hours 20 minutes.

Last night was more socialising, at the intercambio. We were a good mixture this time, roughly half and half Spanish/English speaking. At my end of the table, talk was in English, Spanish, French, and a bit of German. Impressed by those fluent in all four! This is such a nice group, very friendly and international. People like Theresa May should be forced to attend one in order to grasp why freedom of movement is not some kind of scourge (the clue is in the word "freedom", Theresa).

S is off gallivanting in the UK, so Mystère and I are having a quiet night in this evening. I think he must have had a good day, he's zonked out now.
