Birthday daffodils

At this time of year I enjoy the colour and fragrance of British daffodils, grown in the mild climate of south-west England. And tonight they came to my rescue, as I was again blipless, thanks to a grey morning which didn't coax me away form the computer, and an afternoon spent manning the Wildlife Trust pop-up shop. This was my last stint, as it closes tomorrow. It's been very quiet since Christmas but overall the venture's been deemed a success, and the shop will re-open in April in a different unit that has more space to hold various educational activities.
