Homeward Bound

To quote Paul Simon:  'If you've ever seen Tolworth Widnes, then you'll know why I was keen to get back to Scotland London as quickly as possible.'

Well, it wasn't quick - KX to Edinburgh took 6 hours, via Cambridge, for some reason. Another quote, from the guard ;   'a bit of a higgeldy-piggledy train today'. But we're home now.  

Still no baby, but we had to come back to retrieve the cats. We have to work out a plan for how we handle the next few weeks. A is feeling a bit apprehensive, thinking that this birth is going the same way as the last one - ie extremely slowly!
Fingers crossed that it doesn't.  She's been swimming today, hoping that jumping about in the pool may do the trick.
