Ringed Plovers Again

I volunteered for a couple of hours today at a drop-by birdwatching session hosted by the RSPB at the Peedie Sea in Kirkwall.

A few people did indeed drop-by and looked through the scope at the birds, and we told them something about them. Pretty grey but some sunny periods that helped show off the drake goldeneyes and long-tailed ducks. There were a fair number of gulls but unfortunately no neArctic Iceland or glaucous gulls.
