Valuables

No lie in for me, no sooner were the papers collected and delivered to m’lady than I’d to leg it round to the boatyard for a work party. The landlord has demanded that an area north of our scrapyard be cleared in preparation for the commencement of marina construction activities. And of course we’d valuable old rusty things lying out there requiring retrieval.
By midday it was finished so we headed to the Modern to hear a talk on the Bedford’s. Except that the woman giving it decided to talk about the whole of NOW - a get out for her as this meant her chat could be spread extremely thinly with no depth. I mean, when someone looks at some artworks and says they’re "crazy" or "really bonkers" you know that you’re not exactly getting sustenance for the mind or senses. You’d be better off in the cafe with a scone. Still, it was good nosing round the place again.
Later, a film on Netflix that I’d missed last year - Happy End. More French stuff - a wonderful dark melange so it is, ha. Not quite the nurturing France of the night before though.
