Through a pylon, faintly

Imagine my satisfaction - the city skyline through a pylon. There's a flock of sandpipers (I think that's what they are) fluttering just beneath it, too. 
The air was not as clear as last week, and the light was completely different - fewer distant hills visible, and a definite smog layer over the city.
