Late Night

I'm writing this at 10:45 p.m., much later than usual, after a pleasant evening at a wine tasting and then out to dinner with friends.

I'd done a back-up blip at home in the afternoon, just in case this evening didn't offer any good photo opportunities, but I couldn't resist trying my hand at hand-holding at 1/8 second and f2.0 at the wine tasting, and rather like the result, despite the obvious softness.

There were actually two wine tastings going on in the same large room -- Phil and I were at the other (unseeen) one, but the light was better at this one!

(Tomorrow's blip is likely to be equally late, as it's the monthly Art Walk and we're also going to a holiday party.)
